Welcome to AA Halifax
Welcome to the Alcoholics Anonymous web site for Districts 1 & 2 of Area 82. This site is intended to provide information for Alcoholics and a means of contacting Alcoholics Anonymous in the Halifax Regional Municipality and surrounding area. This site is not endorsed by Alcoholics Anonymous World Services and does not represent Alcoholics Anonymous as a whole.
Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism.
The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking.
There are no dues or fees for AA membership; we are self-supporting through our own contributions.
AA is not allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organization or institution; does not wish to engage in any controversy, neither endorses nor opposes any causes.
Our primary purpose is to stay sober and help other alcoholics to achieve sobriety.
Alcoholics Anonymous can be reached 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Call (902) 461-1119.
In keeping with our traditions, the anonymity of all visitors to this website will be respected and protected.

Hi Mark,
If you think you have a drinking problem, you probably do. Best thing you can do is go to an AA meeting and learn more.
There are meetings everyday at various times across the city. Here is a link to the Halifax-area meeting list:

Hope to see you at a meeting. Good luck.
