District 1 GSR meeting is being held on Dec. 20 this month, not the last Sunday. This is due to the Dixon Centre being closed on our regular date.

On December 25 at 8:00 p.m. the Mutual Group will be holding a special Christmas meeting with candlelight and treats! Hope to see you there.

Bedford/Sackville AA will be hosting a Children’s Christmas Celebration on Sunday, December 20, 2009 from 2-5 p.m. in the gymnasium at 45 Connolly Road.

The event will feature Christmas tree decorating, face-painting, music, hot dogs, pop and goodies and of course Santa will visit to give out gifts to all the children.

The 32nd Annual Mid-Winter Roundup, Districts 1 & 2, will take place at the Holiday Inn in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia from February 19-21, 2010.

The theme of this year’s roundup is “How It Works”. The banquet speaker will be Joanne L. from New York.
