The bookstore is located in the basement of Club 24 (3 Dundas Street, Dartmouth).
We are open Sundays from 5-7pm. We only sell AA conference approved books and pamphlets. We aim to carry a wide variety, including select French titles. If you are looking for specific books that we do not currently have in stock, we can include them in our next order or support you in placing an order of your own. How to Order Literature
Groups wanting literature for sale and distribution should email the Literature Committee at: Literature.AAHalifax@gmail.com. Please include the following information:
- The code and title of the book(s) and pamphlet(s) you would like and how many of each you want to purchase. A list of all titles can be found here.
- Your preferred payment method. Payment can be made several ways:
a. Cash
b. Debit or credit card
c. E-transfer to Literature.AAHalifax@gmail.com
d. Cheque, made payable to Central Services
The bookstore will then verify that we have your preferred order in stock, suggest alternative titles/formats if we are missing anything, and then finalize your total cost.
Due to a minimal amount of storage space, we are not able to accommodate very large orders ($1000+) but can guide your group on how to place your own order if needed.
Please note that on Feb 1st 2026 AA World Services increased the cost of all AA titles. That announcement can be read here. We have adjusted our prices accordingly, but in an effort to maintain affordability we have not increased the cost of standard Big Books. Our updated price list is here.
